A two-year-old in Taiwan named Momo Lu turned her kindergarten Halloween party into an unscripted horror show. Skipping typical princess outfits, she went as No-Face, the haunting spirit from Studio Ghibli’s “Spirited Away”, leaving several of her toddler classmates in tears.
Her mother, Elmo Chen, crafted the spot-on look with a full black robe and stark white face paint complete with purple cheek markings. While adults loved the impressive detail, Momo's best friend broke down crying, completely failing to recognize her.
Momo fully committed to the role. Carrying a small woven basket, she glided silently around the room without cracking a smile, sticking strictly to character just as her mom suggested. Though she had begged to be her favorite character, her stoic performance caused genuine panic.
Momo was thrilled with the spooky outcome. The iconic costume made her a viral sensation, kicking off a tradition of dark, high-effort Halloween picks like Ryuk from *Death Note* in the years that followed.
