Speaking directly to a crowd of passionate fans, Hathaway expressed her profound gratitude to the worldwide audience for their unwavering love, patience, and continued support for the beloved cinematic franchise over the last two decades.
While the highly anticipated third movie has been in development for a while, Hathaway previously revealed that the creative team took extra time to restart the screenplay after discovering a fresh creative direction for the narrative.
The star is officially set to reprise her iconic role as Mia Thermopolis, the relatable teenager who became the sovereign ruler of Genovia. Meanwhile, acclaimed filmmaker Adele Lim is attached to direct the royal project.
