To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mamoru Hosoda's classic The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Creative Museum Tokyo is hosting the "Hosoda Mamoru no Genten" exhibition from June 20 to August 31, 2026. This landmark event—the largest of the director's career—features hundreds of production materials from masterpieces like Summer Wars and Wolf Children.
The highlight is a breathtaking, life-size installation of Chiaki Mamiya featuring the film's iconic quote, "mirai de matteru" ("I'll be waiting for you in the future").
