Sophie Turner brought a heartwarming real-life happy ending to a tragic Game of Thrones storyline by adopting the dog that played Sansa Stark's direwolf, Lady. While Lady met a sad fate early in season one, Turner formed a deep, genuine bond on set with the canine actor, a Northern Inuit named Zunni.
The adoption was particularly special for Turner, who had never been allowed to have pets growing up, making Zunni her very first dog. When filming wrapped for the animal, the Turner family eagerly welcomed Zunni into their home to transition from a working dog to a beloved pet.
Zunni went on to live a peaceful, happy life with the family for many years before passing away of old age, leaving behind one of the most endearing off-screen stories in television history.
