Ryan Reynolds unexpectedly crashed the Avengers: Doomsday panel at San Diego Comic-Con, crashing Hall H under the alias "Ricky." Wearing a unique grey Deadpool suit, he humorously crashed the event alongside directors Anthony and Joe Russo and Kevin Feige, playfully lobbying for a role in the upcoming film.
The suit featured a clever twist—a grey denim design Reynolds dubbed his "Canadian tuxedo" or "JeanPool," a reference to Jean Grey. The distinct grey-and-black palette also paid homage to Deadpool’s iconic look from the Uncanny X-Force comic series.
Beyond the laughter, the stunt served as an exciting teaser. Following his earlier confirmation at Fanatics Fest that a new Deadpool project is in active development, Reynolds teased that the next installment will dig deep into obscure Marvel comic lore yet to be adapted on screen.
