Leaks from data miners ShiinaBR and HYPEX reveal that Patrick Star is coming to Fortnite as part of the SpongeBob Wave 2 collaboration. Rather than a fully playable skin, Patrick will join the game as a reactive, floating sidekick due to his unique cartoon proportions.
He hovers alongside players during matches, offering fun voice quips reacting to in-game actions. The leaked companion includes three distinct styles: Cel-shaded, Gradient, and Pirate.
The Wave 2 files also feature additional themed cosmetics, including a Jellyfishing Net pickaxe, Jellyfish back bling, and Ice Cream pickaxes. Like all Fortnite sidekicks, Patrick remains purely cosmetic, invisible to enemies, and grants zero competitive advantage.
