Nico Robin Has Arrived! Live-Action Star Lera Abova Stuns Fans in Viral Photo with Zoro & Sanji Cosplayers
The hype for Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action One Piece adaptation just reached an absolute fever pitch in Latin America, thanks to a mind-blowing viral moment straight from the convention floor.
Model and actress Lera Abova, officially cast to play the iconic role of Nico Robin (initially introduced to fans as the mysterious Baroque Works vice-president Miss All Sunday), made a massive splash as an international guest star at Comic Con Chile 2026 over the July 4th and 5th weekend. While her solo panels drew massive crowds, it was an impromptu, stunning fan photoshoot that completely stole the show online.

An Authentic Live-Action Scene Brought to Life
While interacting with the vibrant Latin American fanbase, Abova crossed paths with a couple of incredibly talented cosplayers dressed up as two of the Straw Hat crew's strongest fighters: Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji. The resulting photo instantly looked less like a casual convention meet-and-greet and more like a high-budget promotional leak straight from Netflix's upcoming production set.
The attention to detail from the fans was completely immaculate. The Zoro cosplayer brought the edge with a signature black bandana wrapped tightly and three distinct katanas rigged seamlessly to his hip belt. Meanwhile, the Sanji cosplayer brought the suave cook's anime-accurate aesthetic to life, perfectly mimicking the swooping blonde hair and that tricky, iconic curly eyebrow look that can easily look strange if not executed flawlessly.
Positioning the actual live-action Nico Robin right in the center of the trio completely anchored the shot, providing an incredibly surreal, early glimpse of what the dynamic between these legendary characters will look like on screen.
The Growing Global Footprint of One Piece
Moments like this highlight exactly why the live-action adaptation has broken the historical "anime curse." The production team and the cast consistently show deep, genuine respect for the community, and the actors actively embrace the fandom's passion.
Latin America boasts one of the most dedicated, rapidly growing anime communities on the planet, and seeing Abova play along so naturally with the crowd proves that Season 2 is shaping up to be an even bigger global cultural phenomenon than the first. If this mini-photoshoot is any indication of the visual chemistry we're getting in the actual show, the live-action Alabasta saga is going to leave fans completely breathless.
