Kai Cenat's Streamer University Acceptance Rate Makes It 300x Harder to Get Into Than Harvard

With over 1 million creators applying for only about 120 spots, the 2026 class of Kai Cenat's "Streamer University" features a microscopic 0.012% acceptance rate. By comparison, Harvard University’s acceptance rate hovers around 4.2%, making the streaming program roughly 300 times more selective on paper.

The application rollout was chaotic, featuring massive in-person sign-ups in New York and Los Angeles, though an Atlanta stop had to be canceled after venues pulled out due to crowd concerns.

While critics point out that the comparison isn't perfect—since Harvard requires highly vetted academic credentials whereas anyone can apply to Streamer U—the sheer volume of applicants highlights where Gen Z sees the ultimate career opportunity. Critics also claim Cenat favors creators who already have established audiences.
