Haaland admitted he completely ignored a dinner invitation from the Spider-Man actor during the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix simply because he had no idea who Holland was.

The Spider-Man Ghosting Incident

When the interviewer first brought up the message, a visibly confused Haaland didn't even recognize the name. It took someone off-camera shouting "Spider-Man!" to finally jog the footballer's memory. Once it clicked, Haaland defended himself with a laugh, explaining that he rarely watches movies and assumed the message was just from a random stranger.
