Coworkers Buy Bicycle for Loyal McDonald's Employee of 21 Years

Tevin Montrell-Hughes has worked at a Greer, South Carolina McDonald's since 2004. For nearly 21 years, he walked to his shifts. Spotting his dedication, his coworkers pooled their own money to buy him a bicycle.

A viral video captured his emotional reaction as he called it a blessing, thanked his trainers, and led his team in prayer.

However, the heartwarming gesture has sparked debate online. Many viral reposts incorrectly credited the fast-food giant for the gift, but the bicycle was funded entirely by his low-wage colleagues. 

While viewers praised the staff's incredible generosity, thousands criticized the multibillion-dollar corporation for allowing employees to foot the bill, especially given Tevin's rare, two-decade loyalty in an industry notorious for high turnover.
