ChatGPT Study Reveals User Generated Endless DDLC Childbirth Fanfics

A joint study titled "AI Fiction in the Wild" by the University of Washington and University of Colorado Boulder analyzed over 500,000 public ChatGPT conversations from the WildChat dataset. Researchers discovered that over a third of users prompt the AI to generate fiction, ranging from original tales to explicit fanfiction.

The most extreme case involved a user who spent months prompting ChatGPT to write endless variations of a single scenario: Natsuki from Doki Doki Literature Club going into labor in the clubroom. This behavior inspired researchers to coin the term "infinite story demander" to describe users who request endless iterations of the same niche plot.

Thanks to this user, Doki Doki Literature Club emerged as the study's most mentioned franchise, surpassing massive IPs like League of Legends and Naruto in AI-generated creative writing.
