Alien: Earth Season 2 Officially Begins Filming With Major New Cast Additions

Xenomorph fans, rejoice! Production on the highly anticipated second season of Noah Hawley's hit sci-fi horror series, Alien: Earth, has officially commenced.

A Move Back to Legendary Roots

In a notable logistical shift, the production has completely packed up its original filming base. While the debut season was prominently captured across stunning landscapes in Thailand, Season 2 has officially relocated to the historic Pinewood Studios, situated just outside of London.

The move is a deeply poetic transition for the franchise, effectively bringing *Alien* back to its original cinematic roots where Ridley Scott first brought the terrifying chestburster to life back in 1979.

Massive Star Power Joins the Cast

As filming kicks off in the UK, the series has officially locked down several legendary actors to join the expanding ensemble. Emmy winner Tracey Ullman, alongside Fargo standout Sam Spruell, have officially climbed aboard the ship. Rounding out the stellar group of newcomers is Game of Thrones veteran Jerome Flynn.

These powerhouse additions will be joining returning series lead Sydney Chandler and show regular Peter Dinklage, promising an incredibly dynamic cast of characters fighting to survive the corporate and extraterrestrial horrors.

Patience is a Virtue: While the cameras are rolling now, inside sources project a premiere window pointing squarely toward 2027 due to an incredibly demanding, intensive VFX post-production schedule.

Though the wait for the eventual premiere will require some real patience from the fanbase, the scale, locations, and high-tier cast upgrades indicate that Hawley is cooking up an absolute masterpiece at Pinewood.
